Program Description & Educational Objectives
In this activity, experts in the management of melanoma discuss the current and evolving set of therapeutic options for the management of malignant disease, focusing on the development and role of novel immunotherapeutic options in the metastatic setting.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Summarize current practice recommendations for patients with malignant melanoma, including individuals with advanced, unresectable disease
- Demonstrate knowledge of early clinical data on targeted therapy in metastatic melanoma
- Cite the management role of novel immunotherapeutic options in the context of current practice recommendations
- Apply data supporting the use of novel immunotherapeutic options across the spectrum of untreated and previously treated malignant melanoma
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of medical oncologists, oncology nurses, pharmacists participating in cancer care, and other professionals involved in the management of patients with malignant melanoma.
Requirements for Successful Completion
In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME/CNE/CPE credit. Statements of Credit are awarded upon successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form.
