Activity Description & Educational Objectives

In this activity, experts in Huntington’s disease discuss the signs, symptoms, and diagnosis of Huntington’s disease, along with the current and emerging strategies for the management of motor symptoms in patients with Huntington’s disease.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Describe and identify the early signs and symptoms of motor abnormalities associated with Huntington’s disease (HD)
  • Employ algorithms for the clinical assessment and diagnosis of HD, including genetic testing
  • Apply key safety and efficacy data on pharmacologic therapies for the treatment of motor abnormalities in patients with HD

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of neurologists and other clinicians involved in the management of patients with Huntington’s disease.

Requirements for Successful Completion

In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME credit. Statements of Credit are awarded upon successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form.
