What is a pop-up blocker?
A pop-up blocker is software that prevents your Web browser from opening a new window on top of the content or Web site you are viewing. They suppress unwanted advertisement windows from appearing on your screen, but also can keep you from seeing desired content.

Why do I need to set my pop-up blockers to allow pop-ups on the PeerView Press Web site?
The PeerView Press Web site uses pop-ups to display certain CME-, CNE-, and CPE-certified educational activities, certificate delivery screens, post-tests, evaluation forms, discussion forums, and download screens. You will not see these screens and the site might appear to be unresponsive if your computer blocks our pop-up windows.

Why does PeerView Press use pop-ups to display certain important content and forms?
We use pop-ups so that you do not "lose your place" on our site while viewing these forms and content.

|
Can I view important PeerView Press content without changing my pop-up blocker settings?
For most pop-up blockers, holding down the Ctrl (control) key while clicking on a link to a pop-up window will temporarily disable the pop-up blocker and allow the new window to open. However, this method will not ensure that you see pop-up windows that open automatically without requiring a link to be clicked. Some pop-up blockers will display a message bar indicating that a pop-up has been blocked, allowing you to click the bar to view the pop-up.

What if I have more than one type of pop-up blocker on my computer?
Your computer could have multiple pop-up blockers running at the same time. They can be included in your Web browser software; popular toolbars from Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and others; security software; and even stand-alone and hidden pop-up blocker programs and toolbars. If you wish to use only one pop-up blocker, you will need to disable or uninstall the others. To remove, disable, or reconfigure multiple pop-up blockers, open each of your Web browser, pop-up blocker, and toolbar software applications and look for menu choices, buttons, or files with labels like "Options," "Preferences," "Settings," or "Help." You also can check the documentation that came with your pop-up blocker software.
