Program Description & Educational Objectives
In this activity, experts in managing HIV discuss considerations for initiating antiretroviral therapy, including the latest guideline recommendations.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Generalize evidence for earlier initiation of antiretroviral therapy in patients with HIV to practice
- Apply recent clinical evidence to the selection of front-line treatment regimens in patients with HIV
- Develop individualized, long-term treatment strategies for patients with HIV
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of HIV specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinicians involved in managing patients with HIV.
Requirements for Successful Completion
In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME/CNE/CPE credit. Statements of Credit are awarded upon successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form.
