Program Description & Educational Objectives
In this activity, an expert in HIV discusses management of patients with HIV in light of the latest US Department of Health and Human Services treatment guidelines.
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Apply evidence and guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of HIV to practice
- Identify potential barriers to achieving optimal long-term outcomes in patients with HIV
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure initial and long-term viral suppression in patients with HIV
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of HIV specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and other clinicians involved in management of patients with HIV.
Requirements for Successful Completion
In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME/CNE/CPE credit. Statements of Credit are awarded upon successful completion of the post-test and evaluation form.
