Program Description & Educational Objectives
In this activity, an expert in mood disorders discusses differentiation of bipolar disorder and major depressive disorder.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
Distinguish among related mood disorders in the primary care setting Select the appropriate treatment for patients with mood disorders, after careful analysis of recent efficacy and safety data Develop strategies to improve treatment adherence and referral rates to specialty care in patients with mood disorders
Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of primary care physicians and other clinicians involved in the treatment of mood disorders.
Requirements for Successful Completion
In order to receive credit, participants must view the activity and complete the post-test and evaluation form. There are no pre-requisites and there is no fee to participate in this activity or to receive CME credit.
